So obviously Ziedrich is very dead and due to everyone's lives and the sad state of gaming, it is unlikely to revive. The forums seem to be getting spammed again, so I will be closing them up for good.

I have no plans to take Ziedrich down, so you may still use whatever features are still working and browse our content if you like.

So, officially, the site is closed. Thank you all for the years of fun and good luck to you, especially those of you remaining in the ever-dwindling fansite world.

Just to let everyone know, all outside hostees that are not me or a select few other people are going to be removed by the end of August. If you have data on my server please get in contact with me or remove your material by the last week of August, before the Big Shiny Red Nuke button is pressed.

This is in relation to malware compromises that were running rampant on my account.

On another note, I have no idea what the future of Ziedrich itself is going to be. For once it was not the target of the hacking and malware doom, but yeah.

Within the next week my entire hosting account will be getting moved to a new server on DreamHost. This will affect Ziedrich and anyone who is hosting under Ziedrich's hosting plan, including any subdomains and full domains.

There may be some downtime while DreamHost moves us to the new server, and if you are using an FTP account to connect with our server and are using the url mento.dreamhost.com, you will be needing to update your FTP connection information. You should change the URL to your domain or subdomain in order to connect, if you have any problems try using ziedrich.net as your connection url. If you're unable to connect after the move, contact me via the new forums and I can give you updated FTP info.

Sorry for this sudden issue, DreamHost didn't exactly give us much choice in the matter. >_>

So, Google somehow thought our forums had malware going through them. How and what it was, I don't know, but I was unable to access enough of the forums to fix the problem so I had to reinstall the forums fresh into a new directory.

You'll have to recreate your accounts unfortunately, and all posts and things are lost since I have no way of knowing what was causing Google to think we were distributing malware on the forum. >_>
