Synopsis
In the world before it was as it is now, a great war had claimed the lives of many. Humans in seek of power began to hunt creatures known as Espers. Espers were considered the source of magic, or at least that's what was decided by scientists. In The hunt a mighty army was created. The army became feared By the world, and was known as the Empire. The Empire created machines of mass destruction, known as Magitek. The world as we know it was facing its own destruction as a war known as the War of the Magi raged. But through the greed of humans there were cast asides and the Espers sealed themselves away in peace until something that was to change the world occurred.
Notes: This game was originally released in the United States on the SNES as Final Fantasy III. The newer Playstation and GBA versions carry the proper title of Final Fantasy VI. Multiplayer is only available in battle as the second controller will control some of the party members.
