Synopsis
The story is set in Earth's future after a war of mass destruction, presumably World War III. The Vatican has become a major military force in the world, wielding massive forces including airships and other weapons. They are locked in a cold war with the Methuselah, a powerful race of vampires with their impressive capital located in Byzantium. The series' main character, Father Abel Nightroad, is an extraordinary priest in the Vatican and happens to be one of their most powerful secret weapons.
